Forever Never
Lucy Score's Forever Never is a standalone small town romance set on the shores of Lake Erie, pairing chaotic, bighearted wedding crasher Remi Ford with a six foot four scowling thriller novelist named Brick Callan. Remi is fleeing Manhattan after a viral wedding disaster that has made her tabloid bait, and she retreats to her godfather's lakeside cottage hoping to disappear. What she does not realize is that the cottage was loaned out to Brick, a brooding former Coast Guard rescue swimmer struggling with writer's block, an aging dad, and a community that has already adopted him. Forced to share the place while a snowstorm shuts down the road, Remi and Brick fall into the kind of grumpy sunshine, forced proximity dynamic Score is famous for, complete with a meddling small town cast, found family, a service dog named Magnus, and steam that earns its slow burn. Beneath the comedy is a story about being seen by the right person at the worst moment of your life.
